I got my final proofs of my set back last night from my photographer! So, this morning I got it all sent off to the SG model coordinator. If all goes well, my set will make it into the queue in the next few weeks. I'm so excited! This first set was a great experience for me. First off, I'm surprisingly non-photogenic in most candid shots. My eyes tend to squint and there's a surprising number of pictures of me out there with food shoved in my face. So it was really awesome for me to see that I can be sexy in photos when I'm actually putting my mind to it.
This was also a really good learning experience as a model. I can't tell you how many hours before my shoot I spent posing in front of a mirror or recording video on my phone to look at of my poses. But until you're actually in front of a real photographer shooting you, it's still hard to see which angles do what for your body. With this first set, I learned a lot as far as what angles work for me and which angles I should avoid. I also picked up a lot of ideas for future sets, which is a plus because I have another one coming up on the 18th. Which is super great although it's outside and February and I may freeze my tits off...
My big goal here modelling is to never stop learning. If you stop learning, you stop improving and I want to keep pushing myself to be better and better.
