Well.....I had a.......ummmm....interesting experiance at work today. surreal
The girl I took to my senior prom came in.

I wrote this a while back for a thread about prom and just copied and pasted......
I was going to skip my senior prom. But there was this girl in my very small group of friends who I had a huge crush on (she already had a boyfriend though) But I got the shock of my life when she asked me to go! So I ran around and spent a shit load of money(which I did not have much of) to get a tux and even a necklace as a present for her. However once we got there, she just ignored me. The rule in my HS was that juniors (that was her) could go to prom if taken by a senior. She just used me to get there, then ditched me when we got there and left with another guy.



Anyway....she came into my store tonight. I knew who she was right from the start.....but it took her a min to remember me. She looks at me funny and says "Dont I know you?"
So I give a lil "Yeah.....Im Joe"
Then her eyes got big. She points me out to the guy she came in with and says "this is the guy I told you about that gave me the necklace" and then she says how she was so upset because she lost it a lil while ago. Then she lifts her shirt up a bit to show me her lower back and says "Here....this is for you"
She had the same design that was on the necklace tattooed on her lower back (two dragons wrapping around eachother and forming a heart)
And then she left. I kinda wish I had handled it all better. She probaly thought I was being cold or was angry towards her....but honestly I was like a deer in the headlights and didnt know what to do frown I dont even know how the hell Im supposed to feel about it all now.....if I should be flattered or happy or depressed or what.
My fucked up mind kinda decided for me though cuz Im pretty damned depressed even if Im not sure why whatever frown
Part of me hopes that she will come back and talk with me....and part really wishes it never happened

I agree. I've done a little bit of knife and armor work. It takes a long time, and I only do it once in a great while, but I tend to improve dramatically each time and it is very rewarding work.
