Okay.....I just had a rather wierd experiance that I thought I would share....
Had to take mom to the V.A. hospital today for her p.t. and to get a prescription filled. While we were there, she wanted to visit the husband of a friend of hers who was in the nursing home section of the hospital.
Okay.......have you guys ever watched the Hellraiser movies? If so....do remember the scenes involving nursing homes and hospitals? I SWEAR that was exactly what this was like. We had to go down this long hallway and there is nothing there......till we passed an old man in a wheelchair mumbling to himself. Then we turned the corner and the entire hallway is just full of old people in wheelchairs and beds.....some were kinda shaking and some just stared into nothing. Some werent moving at all. We get to the mans room, and he doesnt remember mom at all, and seemed alittle scared. The TV was on some bible show were the man in it was going on very loudly about how other religions are the devil. And the man who shared the room with the man we came to see.....he was kinda reaching up into the air for something, though nothing was there. Mom talks with him a bit, then says goodbye and we get going.....and the last thing I saw on the way out was a magazine on a table. It was Time. Had a picture of Bush on it and said "Four more years"
The whole thing was REALLY creepy. I really dont like hospitals
