VACATION GREAT BUT OVER (for now anyway)
Pre-Valentines Day SG Party... yeah I'm a total poser lol
This weekend was great, even though plans changed midstream. The Supper Club event was a great break. Met some really fun people and spent some good time with those I already knew a little. Now, its back to the grind:
- Apartment roommate hunting for SF starts up again. Shouldn't be too hard to find a good place, just wondering still about which areas/districts to invest my "hunt" time into.
- Homework. Never fails, projects galore. But its fucking great really, can't complain too much because I love what I'm doing.
- Side projects. Got to work up some logo designs for DreadThis's photography studio, as well as some other little projects promised to people. Shouldn't be too hard its just finding the time to do it.
- Sell my stuff. Damn, I always say this but I HAVE WAY TOO MUCH SHIT! All nice stuff and is going to be hard to part with but screw it, I never really use most of it anyway. Time to start fresh anyway.
- Personal Project Poster. Yep, still working on that poster... though I am starting to think that if I really like the design after its been thrown down and developed I might just submit it to Threadless (with the permission of the model of course) and see if we can boost it into a T design as well. Can't wait to really work on THIS project, I'll just continue for now to let it be my "carrot on a stick" to get me through the other mundane stuff.
That's it for me for now... dry blog AGAIN, but better stuff to come soon.
Lets go Old School again for a video... for some reason this popped into my head last night at the Supper Club; maybe it was the Rush Hour convo I had with one of the dudes from NerdCAST?! And seriously if you haven't heard them and you are into geek culture and just "hanging with boys" and talking nerd shit then definitely give them a try! They have been added to my weekly "must listen to/watch" Podcast list (which Includes The Totally Rad Show, Diggnation, and Project Lore for now).
