The Update
The week flew by quickly...
Hey Everyone. Just thought I'd update the journal a bit. Been kind of sick the last two days, might be the flu. Eck... I hate being sick. But what can you do. When I was feeling up to it I worked on a few small side projects for fun (sorry Allure, I'll try to do the flyer when I feel better). Here are some banners and stuff I did for Lynx. Feel free to tell me what you think, most of the design inspiration came from PMatt007's work... the guy is a great designer.
I've been thinking about some of my work lately and might need to do a little more research on color calibrating monitors... Not to get too geeky but there are definite color differences that I see when viewing my work on the Apple calibrated system than people on a PC (or even my Powerbook). If anyone knows what is a good tool to use or whats recommended to do then holler at me. I noticed some of the pinks are turning out more magenta on another monitor and that just doesn't look right.
Lets see what else...
Guess I'll just recommend you to go see the new movie by the creator of Talledega Nights and The 40-Year Old Virgin. SuperBad looks like a definite must see.
Seriously I recommend watching the Restricted trailer on the website... its added hilarity.
OK, thats enough for me right now. Hope you all are doing well and though I haven't been in chat very often I'll see some of you there soon Im sure.
