So the convention was a blast... I thought it might be weird that the convention was at the World Golf Village, with a bunch of older folk running around (and it was a little), but the distance was the only real bummer. Local news report HERE. Look closely and you'll see me.
My brother and I rode down on our bikes Fri. Sadly, I only had a few hours to enjoy myself before work and my brother had plans to head to Tampa later that day too. Though that didn't stop him from getting himself a tattoo... And while technically not his first tattoo, he still was nervous and not sure what to expect.
He chose to get music lyrics on his thigh to try to keep our dad from finding out, but then the little dummy posts all about it on Facebook. And yes, padre is on his friend list...
Sat was much more fun! I got there at about 2pm and a couple friends who had gotten a room right there at the hotel had already started celebrating. In fact, LJ had herself a booth that she was sharing with a tattoo artist from the shop she pierces at. Ran into Patti, a chica I work with, and her sons who were all getting tattoos together...
Trevor got himself a really sick Darth Vader tattoo...
And LJ got her armpit tattooed...
Even the lovely MissRed showed up for all of about 15 minutes. I have photographic evidence to this, but it's a bad picture so I'm not allowed to post it...
On Sun I finally got mine... Took 4 hours, but not near as painful as I thought it'd be.

Good news: Another tattoo convention coming up in Feb in Orlando.
Really Good News: It's gonna be a tattoo AND porn convention! Fuck yeah!
