I haven't blogged in soooo long. Don't worry kittens, you haven't missed much - I've been a home body lately, just reading a lot, working on my website and taking pretty pictures. I'm thinking about setting up a studio in my spare room and taking portraits of children and cats and dogs and baby ducks and creepy dolls and my friends and whatever else I can beg/borrow/steal in order to photograph. I am waiting for a shutter release cable too so i can take pictures at night time, which I used to do a lot before I had Kaidin when I did photography in high school.

It's good having my girlfriend here so I can run off at dawn to photograph the river. It's good for other things too, but we are keeping them a bit private

I brought her a kitten as a welcome to Australia present. Not sure what we are going to do when she has to go home again - i wonder if there is quarantine between here and NZ for house pets.. his name is Frank and he is a ginger tom and very gangly.

Um. I am growing a vegie garden with peppers and cherry tomatoes and basil and lettuce and spinach and pumpkin. And Avalon turns one in a fortnight. And I really need to spend some time topless out in the yard because I have terrible strap marks even though I always wear sunscreen. Damn Australian summer!
