Well today when I got out of bed I was expecting just another regular day at work. Nothing to spectacular but when I got to I discovered it was going to be a pretty shitty day. My bosses sister passed away earlier this morning, no major health problems, no warning signs. She briefly complained about feeling faint and then was gone. She was 52 years young. I've been working for my current employer for about 7 years now and over that time I've developed a great sense of admiration and respect for my boss. It's a small garage I work in so it has given us a lot of time to get to know each other. But when you see someone you hold so high up in your mind to be brought down like that it almost feels like a kick in the teeth. Oh what I would give for that unspectacular day right now.
