It's a countdown day:

1 day until my birthday

3 weeks and 1 day until the Big Day

3 weeks until my final exam

Those are the things I'm counting down to at the moment. Some I'm looking forward to more than others of course!

Wedding plans are going well, pretty much all sorted as it's only a small affair. The one thing I haven't decided on yet are the wedding favours, what to give to people after that fits in with the little to non existent budget? I thought maybe button badges, that's kind of the idea i'm stuck on.
The best thing is that our friends and family have really come together to help us out with things. Flowers, cake, alcohol, it's all being sorted by friends. My work gave us eurostar vouchers (although we can't use them straight away as K needs a visa) so we can go to Paris at some point, and also gave us cash to put toward going away for a few days after the wedding.
We're going to a farmhouse B&B near Dover, I can't wait! It's only for 3 nights, but they have a hot tub, superking size bed, and the views look amazing.
