Hi all

Now that I'm sort of settled into my new role at work and understand it I can tell you guys a little about it. I am in charge of Performance Optimisation for Killzone Mercenary, basically what I do is, I get a nice pretty almost finished level and essentially take a chainsaw to the collision of the level to smooth out the play area, remove collision from art outside the main level and try to make the experience as smooth and as enjoyable as possible. I have a small team of people to give me a hand with optimisation but the profiling and tracking is solely my responsibility which means I'm working some long ass 11 hour. Days, but I am really enjoying it.

On another note, I have decided to treat myself to a new WH40k army - a post Horus Heresy Crimson Fist Army (that probably means nothing to most of you ). For the last few months, Games Workshops resin specialist Forge World have been producing some awesome Horus Heresy era miniatures and got me wanting to do an army based on these figures, as I have always wanted a Crimson Fist army, I have started building an army from the earliest days of the chapter. I'm looking forward to lots of time painting them.
