Hey everybody, just wanted to say hi as its been a while since I last blogged.
What can I say, I have been stupidly busy with my new Job as an art Intern for SCEE here in Cambridge, because it's not paid I have had to move back into my parents house which means a 3 hour commute each way to and from work - Wisbech is in the middle of nowhere, literally. The job is everything I hoped it would be and I can say that I have learnt so much about modelling in Maya as well as level and environment design, the learning experience has just been totally awesome and I think everyone wanting to get into games dev should do one.
Speaking of games, we got officially launched at Gamescom at the start of the week, so this is the game I am working on:
Other than work I haven't been up to much, getting up at 5am and getting home from work at 9pm has sort of put any ideas of doing something out of the window.
Im so looking forward to Darksiders 2 which is coming out over here next week (you guys get the games early, we get the Marvel films early - go figure ).
In comics, I'm still enjoying Batman, Red hood and the Outlaws, Saga and Artifacts which are all awesome as well as Planetoid which if you haven't picked up, you really should.
Little sad that Kenneth Rocafort and Scott Lobdell are moving onto Superman in September, never been much of a Supes fan, but love the writer artist team.
Anyways, hope everyone's having a great time, give Nuka some love as she is recovering from coming out of hospital - she's a wonderful lovely lady.
