Howdy Everybody!!!
Im getting a little lax at blogging here, just had a very quiet week since its the summer holidays and work is pretty boring for the most part so I havent got much to write about.
First of results - Ive started to get my module results for last 3 modules of this, my second year and they arent bad tbh, for Prinicples of Video Production I have a B grade and for 2D Animation Ive got a C grade. Im a little disappointed with the C, guess the marker missed the sense of humour and I really hated the nightmarish software we had to use and was possibly a little too critical of the software.. Still ive passed all of my modules so far which im really happy about as I had been very worried about whether I could have managed to get this far on a degree course after so long in the real world. Still waiting on the main one of the semester - 3D Modelling and Animation so fingers crossed!
Work has been reasonable, its a comic shop so its in now way hard or in fact work, spend too much time geeking out for it to be work
On sunday we went to see Green Lantern (perks of the work!) and I enjoyed it, the film was by no means another Batman Begins or Dark Knight but it was far better than expected. Yes it was a little messy and some of the effects were a little dubious - Hal flying was the main culprit here. The film would have been great if it was just on Oa but it was just split too much to really fly.
Still I did enjoy the film and would recommend it to anyone.
Oh and Ive ended up with a slightly large (Hell its huge!) Thor movie banner from work - we got sent them by mistake.
What do you think? Too Geeky?
anyway thats me rambling for a few more days, will keep you guys updated with the results for my final module but other than that, enjoy the week and stay gorgeous!
