Thank you everyone for the kind words to my previous blog, your thoughts are greatly appreciated and i have taken them to heart. By putting it down in writing i think i could understand it better, but dont quote me on that.
I never minded how the friendship has turned out, sometimes like this weekend i sometimes wish they were different but most of the time im happy that i have such wonderful friends. Im never going to lose hope that one day i may get to feel that happiness myself but thats probably a very long way off.
Today i got a new toy courtesy of the Aspire Scheme, in which my university gives me 500 credit at the on campus book store to spend on books and gadgets. So with that in mind ive used it to great effect and ordered a shiny new Bamboo drawing tablet for my computer:
Its totally gorgeous and is going to be such a big help to me in drawing and coming up with ideas for my course
With the rest ive got quite a few textbooks which cover 3DS Max and games design which will be invaluable in times to come and decided to be a little geeky and preorder this which is totally unrelated to my course in any way:
Pretty much the entire Walt Simonson run of the Mighty Thor comic in one hefty not very easy to read tome.
Im going to lose myself in some classic norse adventure to boost my inspiration. Ive also started to reread George RR Martin's Game of Thrones series in time for the next book and the tv series which looks so good.
Rewatched Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon tonight, this film for me has never lost its feel or its sadness, its such a beautiful film to watch.
Im going to leave you lovely people with this wonderful song from the Casshern soundtract, its in Japanese so i have no idea what the words are but both the music and the voice are a pleasure to listen to, if a little melancholy.
Stay beautiful and go give Mitska's current set some love, i would love to see this beautiful woman go pink but i dont think the peolpe who select the sets will choose it if its just several hundred comments from me.
