Hey guys, a bit of a mixed rest of the week, more aprehensive for monday and thursday which has not put me in the best of moods.
Monday would have been the 11th birthday of my neice Courtney, she passed away with most of her family, except my brother (him and her mother had split up about a year before) in a car accident on the 17th feb 6 years ago. Im still finding this very hard to come to terms with and have only managed to face going to her grave twice in all of that time. Monday will be the third. I was very close to Courtney and miss her alot, sadly not being able to fully come to terms with the loss is getting a little in the way of me getting close to my other neice Rowan and i hope that one day i can figure a way through.
My friends have dragged me to theirs for this weekend to help me keep myself from shutting myself away and dwelling on it which i have done in the past, which definitley isnt good for me. My friends have been absolutely wonderful to me and are as much a part of my family as my own, im not sure what i would do without them.
We have just been to see Tangled which was a pretty good Disney fillm and quite fun to see.
As for the rest of the week Uni work is going great and i now have 1 of the 3 assets i need for my first 3D Animation assignment - a ballistic missile! The semester is picking up pace and becoming so much fun, below are the initial treatments/ideas for my 3 video projects:
3D Animation - Bond Trailer:
The trailer starts with an arial view of a volcanic tropical island, then the camera zooms down to ground level
and pans through the island up to the crater of the volcano, bird noises are heard in the distance. A loud air raid siren starts scaring the birds and the lava lake suddenly splits in two and retracts into the mountainside.
The roar of a rocket starts as the missile flys upward throught the hole made by the retracting plates.
Cut to a hotel room and a telephone - Conversation between Bond and a member of MI5, Cut to the Bond Logo and the game name 'Spectre Falls'
2D Animation - Sports Promo
This is going to be an over the top advert for an event shown on the 'Game On' channel, in the same style as 'Wrestlemania' adverts for the 'World Arm Wrestling Federation' using sop motion animation techniqies and key frame techniques. The characters will be Thor, Colossus and 2 AIM Soldiers as the commentators.
Video Production - Nature Documentary
This idea still needs to be thrashed out with the other two members of my team (the other two assignments are solo projects) so its a little vague at this point, We are going to film a group of Airsoft enthusiasts at one of their events and then lampoon the entire thing as a David Attenbrough lost tribe nature documentary. This will be played totally deadpan and will hopefully be lots of fun

The weirdest thing happened to me today, i went into the shoe shop to get some new laces for my trainers which cost 1 and the woman at the chekout announced that i got a free tote bag with them, somewhat confused i agreed and payed for the laces and then she folded the tote bag, put the laces on top and asked if i wanted a bag to put them in, it was a little surreal so i just said no and left with a pair of white laces and a very large black schuh bag with gold 'bling' print on it.
Anyways enough rambling from me, i hope everyone enjoys their valentines day, i wont be as i will be visiting my neice's grave and ive never had anyone to be with on the day anyway so it doesnt really matter to me.

Happy Valentines Day everyone! And everyone should go visit the beautiful Mitska's newest set in MR called Spring Break, its a great set and she is very very beautiful.
