i have been to Amsterdam, yes - went with a bunch of friends back in 2003. i absolutely loved it there and not a week goes by that i don't think about going back someday. it was the global vibe and makeup of the people wandering the streets, the way that everyone was able to mind their own business and allow people to enjoy their time the way they want to... plus plenty of sex and smoke everywhere.
