I just... bought a book of 365 sexual positions for the year... not to use for sex, mind you... but rather to better choreograph sexual sequences in my films...
I will say this aboug being an assistant director: there is something very intimate between directors and AD's... this bond, this need to be needed. It fulfills the OCD organization bug I have and the reassurance that someone relies on and believes in me. Pretty fuckin stellar to AD a film this semester with a 5 grand budget and a director I respect, working on a script I actually dig. It's getting sad how hard it is to find exciting work coming out of film school... What did Solodnz say? Something to the effect of how film students have the uncanny ability to bore the fuck out of their audience 5 seconds into a 5 minute film. Amen, brutha.
