The HPV Vaccine is out now. Ask your gynecologist about it. Women between 9 and 26 are the best candidates for it. It is best to get it before you are sexually active, although if you have been in the past, you can get tested for HPV. If the results are negative, you are free and clear to get the Vaccine.
I don't know whether or not it is recommended for women who are currently sexually active. But fuck, ladies, ask your doctor.

In rare instances, when contracted, the body will naturally fight and fend off the virus. 90-93% of all cases of Cervial Cancer can be traced back to HPV. Often, the carriers are asymptomatic.
