Lissy is back in Brooklyn, safe and sound.
After getting torn a new one two weeks ago in image design, my instructor, this week, suddenly pointed me out as an example for the rest of my class. When he came up to my favorite shot (my girl, Marissa, behind a shower curtain with a blue light illuminating the background and some warm light on her face) he freaked out and said he would talk to the department (cinematography) head about scanning that slide and getting it up on the cinematography wall (which is... a huge fuckin deal).
After class, he came up to me and told me to just keep taking pictures so I could really fine tune my craft but that he was excited about my eye and my grasp of colors and provocative imagery.
Jigga Whut??
I had my tarot cards read with my sister yesterday.
She told me what I already knew. Harden my heart. Look to my career for the next two years. I will be famous if I commit my entirety to my craft. I will be happy and apparently healthy (although I have a lot of work to do before my health is anywhere close to where it needs to be).
Bottom line. I'm becoming the devout and virginal mistress to film that I've always wanted to be. Let nothing move me from this path. I will excel. Now to get this Josh business under control.
