I'm awake.

I'm not supposed to be awake. I have to be up at 4am to go to work. I have a very important evaluation to attend in the morning. I must be fresh, primed, and ready to react when required. But I'm not tired. And I don't think I'll be tired anytime soon.

I've just finished reading Feyne's journal. What a wonderful girl. I think if sweetness could be poured into the form of a beautiful woman, Feyne would be the end result.

I visited a friend this weekend, and was given a tour of his new business venture. I'll post pictures soon. Anyone who leads a less straightedge life than myself will find them particularly interesting.

Rules for my house:
1. At the dinner table, there is no talk of politics or religion. Say what you believe in, but refrain from party talk or candidate partisanship. Feel free to speak of God, or to God, but leave all the other fluff at the door.

2. When sleeping over, clothing is optional. I sleep naked, always. My guests are welcome to make themselves comfortable as they see fit.

3. When showering, it is acceptable to enjoy a cocktail or brew during bathing. But please remember to deposit the glass in the kitchen when done.

So far in this life, I have found no song that compares with this one:


I am weary of listening to others speak of the world we live in as if it were an absolute environment. The moment I hear that politician must be evil, or that a group of people are ignorant for the way they do things, I immediately begin to nod off. Just because some does something different from how you would do doesn't make them wrong. Even thought the choices some people make might not coincide with what you want, doesn't mean that they exist to persecute you. Relax. Continue to voice your concerns in a calm, coherent way, and eventually, the world will work itself out. And if it doesn't, then find someone to hold close to you at night, and for those few hours, the world will make sense.
