I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was okay. The highlight of it was a trip to Sonic with a friend for dinner tonight. Sooo, you can tell how much of a party animal I was. It didn't help that I had to work Friday through Saturday. Or that the guy I was partnered with for work was a complete fucking bell end. He complained about everything, yet didn't have any solution for any of the "problems" that he saw. What an asshole. Enough! I refuse to fill this page with whiney ramblings about work! At least the weekend ended with a strawberry limeade.
I'd like to give a shoutout to my buddy Adam. He got laid this weekend in Colorado, ending a bit of a dry spell. Congratulations! He was pretty happy about it, and I was pretty happy for him. The town we live in is full of married people. I think maybe 2% of the population is single, and that's being generous. I have included a picture of Adam and myself below. As you can see, in a normal environment, Adam would have no trouble finding someone to guard against the lonely nights. But here, it's a different story. Let's be happy for his success!
Sonja beat me in our best 2 out of 3 Words with Friends match. Can you believe it? A red blooded American beat at a game whose point is to spell English words, by a girl from Germany!?! I concede defeat. Sonja, you are my better.
If you're looking for something new to listen to, the new Neon Trees album, Habits, is good. As is the new Gorillaz album, Plastic Beach. Speaking of the latter, I highly recommend the track titled On Melancholy Hill.
