Thankfully the garbage-pickup day switch seemed to go pretty well.
Except the neighbor across the street put his out on Tuesday so
naturally it wasn't picked up. I sort of thought that might happen
because he's not big on following current events. Guess if I was
a real decent fella I would have warned him; but I'm not and it isn't
really my business anyhow. Not to mention the fact that I'm pretty
sure he voted for my opponent in the 1980 mayor race. I don't
hold grudges though.

Still have to update my 2013 calendar with the new pickup days -
maybe I'll set aside Thursday or Friday for that.


Other than that it's been pretty quiet around town - a dog got
grazed by a car on the highway, but was just shaken up and will
be fine.

Damn I miss having that idiot Romney to kick around! (maybe I already
said that.)

Possibly I may have to study up on this fiscal cliff issue and do some
sort of countdown on that, but honestly it just isn't that interesting somehow.
