No TV for a while.......
The Republican convention is getting real close. There is very high
risk of all kinds of sound bites and/or real time coverage of "news" emanating
from this nonsense. Even though my television is supposed to shut off
automatically after a few seconds of right-wing idiot blather, I have found
that this feature is simply not reliable from any manufacturer.
Biggest danger of course is falling asleep in front of the TV (actually I
use it to put me to sleep). Then wake up with a splitting headache and
realize I've been exposed to toxic sound unwittingly for hours.
What would happen to a normal person who fell asleep with the TV
tuned to a FOX channel ??? A paranoid nightmare for sure.
