WTF. A good friend of mine, of like 7 years (who is also an ex) just found out his mom (who has totally accapted me and treated me like I was her daughter in law) has an inoperable brain tumor. I'm just in shock right now. And she doesn't even know yet. It so fucking wierd that something like that could happen to someone I know.
I tried not to cry when I saw Eric today, cause I knew he'd had enough of all that with his family at the hospital. I just didn't even know what to say. Like I said, it hasn't totally sunk in yet. The doctor gave her 8 mon. - 5 yrs to live. Quite the span, I know. But still. Only 5 more years, at the most? She in her fuckin 50's....
She starts speach therapy tomorrow and i'm just praying it all goes 100% well and she gets everything working right again.
