Tough guy
Is that just a lie
The fury inside
Or the fear that I hide
My vocabulary consist of harsh declaration
With no consideration
For your softer inclinations
Am I just a beast, a monster
I'm not sure
Once I realized man's not kind
I became a ferocious manipulator of mankind
If that's not a sign of the times
So when push comes to shove
I'm still willing to believe in a god above
I'm still willing to believe in love
So don't bore me with my own stories
Of me hurting women and kids
I know what I did

The lack of glee
The fight within me
I still argue about evolution
The hope for revolution
Society's solution
I've spent my whole life
Cleaning my own blood off the floor
Hiding behind closed doors
