Ok... just a few more thoughts for the day...
I watched a really awful movie recently (that I loved). Bad Girls From Valley High with Jonathan Brandis, Julie Benz, Monica Keena, Nicole Bilderback, Janet Leigh, and Christopher Lloyd.
It happend to be Janet Leigh's last film before her death on October 3rd of last year. Not really a high point in a career reaching back to 1947! But I loved it!!!
It freaked me out to learn that Jonathan Brandis had hung himself to death, because I just started watching Seaquest DSV reruns on TV. He had been slated to direct a movie completed in 2004 after his death called The Slainesville Boys, it would have been his first as a director... Sad about the loss...
Anyway... The movie ROCKED... Lots of laughs!!! and lines like "I loved her like a daughter, but in a dirty way", and "Get your dick mittens off me"... Funny shit! Julie Benz...Loved her as Darla on "Angel" and really fit the role of someone playing an 18 yr old in the movie... I don't think my viewing partner got the fact that she wasn't supposed to look 18 and having a 33yr old actress play the role was the joke. OR maybe I'm giving the film makers too much credit... Hysterical!!!!! Watch it...
