The Major-General's Song is a patter song from Gilbert and Sullivan's 1879 comic opera The Pirates of Penzance. For everyone who was confused... I'm a bit of a geek, and sometimes I go off on tangents... I had that song stuck in my head and I was walking around all day with it running through my head! Why? I dunno... Haven't seen a musical for oh... I'd say... 3 yrs and that was Mama Mia! So who knows...
Sooooooooo what can I tell you guys today... My Mom and Step Dad moved to town... Very cool! Their condo is amazing. In a couple of weeks I'm tearing out the kitchen so My Sisters boyfriend can rebuild it (he does that for a living - and he's really good at it!)...
Next weekend is camping!!! There's a really cool pagan festival outside London (Spirits of teh Earth Festival). It's really fun... This year Trish Telesco, the Kitchen Witch, is going to be there doing some seminars. And I'm pretty sure the Dragon Ritual Drummers are going to be there! They are really fun! Every night there's a huge bonfire with people playing instruments. It's a really good time. The nice thing about it is everyone is very friendly, you can get a day pass for $20 and you can go hear something about palmistry, making your own charms... etc. FUN!!!! Oh! and it's totally a big piss up! They just ask that you don't attend rituals drunk... out of politeness... Good times!
