I donate blood too!!! It is a good thing. I'm also on bone marrow registry. Haven't gotten a call yet, but we'll see.

I got my flu shot today. So no blood donation. I fill up my bag in 5 minutes flat! The nurse's are always like, "Whoa, you have big veins!" Heh. That would suck though if I ever had to worry about bleeding to death.....okay, new topic

Some people ( me being one of them ) feel like ASS when I can't afford a gift and someone has gone ahead and got me one anyway when I aske dthey not. But it's up to you. You could make it a romantic dinner night. Or a couple gifts before xmas surprise.

Emma Donoghue is an award-winning Irish writer who lives in Canada. At 37, she has published four novels, three books of short stories, two works of literary history, two anthologies and two plays.

Born in Dublin, Ireland, on 24 October 1969, Emma is the youngest of eight children of Frances and Denis Donoghue. She attended Catholic convent schools in Dublin, apart from one year in New York at the age of ten. In 1990 she earned a first-class honours BA in English and French from University College Dublin, and in 1997 a PhD (on the concept of friendship between men and women in eighteenth-century English fiction) from the University of Cambridge. Since the age of 23, Donoghue has earned her living as a full-time writer. Yes, the horn is AWESOME! And that goofy looking guy is my bf, better pic's to come. And I hope YOU are doing well, and looking forward to the christmas break. I know I am! All of the school and working and trying to have time for a relationship. .... life is busy.

oh man. I lived like that once. In FEBRUARY! My only eat was a gas fireplace, and the pilot broke and the landlord didn't fix it for a month. Since I was the only occupied apartment in the building it was like -18 in there. My kitties totally slept under the covers on top of me. (also, ahem...after a few nights of that I said fuck it, and brought them down with me to sleep in the dining room of the restaurant I mnaged at the time. But you didn't hear that from me....no health inspector, there are no animals in here. hehe.)

I hope it gets fixed very soon!!!!!!!
