You might have more luck in Montreal or Toronto! Especially Montreal.. beautiful and artsy city... though it'll help immensely if you can speak french...
have you checked out CEDAR, a beautiful ballerina limbo gal...i did ballet till i was 17, too flat-footed, ugh, good jumps though!! i'm jealous of your job!
Probably best to avoid Ottawa anyway.
