I've had a strange few days, we've been without power for most of the weekend thanks to this doing this... i ended up doing loads of work on sunday as everybody was in need of basic supplies to keep going though another powerless night however that wasn't to be since the electricity was turned back on at around 6pm so me being me i volunteered to return to work and open up the store so people could get some fuel and it was a little manic to say the least. I was supposed to be at work today too but because of yesterday and the number of hours i did they said i could have the day off to chill out or whatever it is i do on my days off work...

Sooo... today i went into town to spend some pennies i didn't really have but then i don't give a fuck right now as i've got a lot on and i think in some kind of desperate fashion i deserve it. lol. I got myself Dead or Alive 2 for my Dreamcast and entered a comp in the store to win a new PStwo [fingers crossed!] and a whole bunch of clothes that where in the sales! w00t! I picked up a funny little book for a fiver called, well... "how to change the world for a fiver" - its a short book detailing all the little things we can individually do to improve our own lives, the lives of others and our environment - it even includes a pack of seeds to grow your own scotch pine in time for xmas 2012! I also met up with my friend amy for a coffee at cafe sol as she's still without power and her lower floor has been completely gutted... she seemed a little fed up with it all which is understandable really but in good sprits.

I haven't spoken to simone since saturday, i don't know what to say to her at the moment as she seems so stressed out and i can't help but feel my presence even if its just a text message just seems to distract her at the moment when she really needs to be getting to grips with her new job and sorting out other issues she has of her own. This long(ish) distance relationship is harder than i first though it would be...

Oh... before i forget, i'm updating my instant messenger contacts so if anyone wants mine then just ask - i'm probably going to be going around those on my friends list and finding theirs on the contact me page. Probably...
