DOH! I've left SGUK by accident, i was using my laptops touchpad and i missed the latest topic in the group and selected LEAVE GROUP - agh...i'll be back... hopefully

is it just me or has it been a long week? a few things have happened since my last update that are of journal worthiness, firstly that i am going to get my eyes tested as i keep finding occasions where i can't read small text from a distance where as i have had no problems in the past and while i'm at it i'm going to sort out my health - not that its at all bad or anything but i have put on quite a bit of weight which shall be removed from my person in the coming months...
i bought XII of my Xbox the other day and its surprisingly good, i've been playing it on and off for the past few days although i don't seem to be getting too far since its quite an awkward game to adjust to at first - i bought the chemical brothers "singles 93-03" off iTunes too - my first ever paid for download album!
i've also booked my flights to New York in november and i'm looking into cheapy flights to Tokyo for late spring 2005 too, i haven't been back to the NYC since i was living their last summer so i am really looking forward to that - i always find i work at things harder knowing that i have something to look forward too..
i submitted by first wallpaper to the SG army yesterday too, its basically a union jack with the SGUK url on it... i have a few other pieces under construction right now but its just finding the time to do so...

I saw you mention Usenet in someone else's journal, and you're one of the few people I've met who've used Usenet let alone know what it is. This means you rock. Don't worry, I'm not about to blather on about xnews and my favourite server etc.
