Hi all. Modest Mouse was amazing. I was about three feet away from the lead singer. It was strange to hear that familiar voice come out of someone's mouth.
My mini trip was good fun too. We walked all over Arcata, which is a lovely town and walked through campus. Everyone knew that Sam and I didn't go there. It's a tiny place.
There was nowhere to stay squat-wise, so we slept in the car. Actually, we stayed up in the car. It's hard to sleep with a plastic seat belt thingie jabbing into your back. A lot of vegan hot chocolate was consumed. You can get anything vegan up there.
On the downside, my set was rejected, but on the upside I get six free months. That's good for me, because this site is quite a luxury. You can see my pics if you want. They're super cute.
