So... wednesday night i was at Rockefeller Park (bottom tip of manhattan, but on the west side, whereas Battery Park is on the east), and the Wailers were doing a free show, and about 95% of the crowd were very obviosuly white... obviously including me. Now, I know that a lot of white people like Bob Marley and the Wailers, but I thought it was a fairly equal spread between all races... I demand to know, why were there so few black people at that concert?
Outside of that, it was a fun show to be at, dancing and being on the grass and all. Anyone was present at that?
Oh shit, yea, I should mention that last weekend, on Friday I saw Mindless Self Indulgence at webster hall. At the end Jimmy Urine was giving out wet sloppy kisses to female fans for $1 each, and he was keeping the money! What a way to earn some extra cash on the side. Anyone here receive a wet/sloppy kiss from Mr. Urine?
