I am going on an adventure!

Thursday I will be dancing at diablo's in Eugene with some of my favorite girlfriends of all time (high schoooooool reunion time).

Friday and Saturday I will be in Portland getting to see various wonderful and fabulous people. It will be awesome.

I got a lot done today.

I cooked for 6 hours and made a 4 course asian meal.

Black bean stir fried vegetable.

Thai noodle salad (homemade noodles and everything)

A 3 mushroom cold side dish

and Thai style seafood awesome with scallops, shrimp and calamari steak.

I made grilled cheese sandwiches and vegetable beef campbell's soup. It took me twenty minutes to cook and five to eat. In my defense, I used sharp cheddar, good bread, and the sandwiches were toasted to golden perfection. My kids adore my grilled cheese sandwiches.

Those are very hot photos. "Mermaid", and "Drunken door painting" especially. When I first stumbled across those it was like finding a secret stash. Here you are, someone I have known and corresponded with on and off for a couple of years, and then one day I click this "pictures" link and HOLY SMOKES SHE TOOK PICTURES!!! Such a spike of goodness to my day.

I am going to the Dandy Warhols show and the Death Cab show in Dec (oh, that's now), and I am waaaay excited. I have never seen either band in concert.

I know what you mean about frustratingly rewarding. It takes so much compromise and sacrifice to be able to live harmoniously with another. Sometimes I'm just like- I want to be alone! Go away! And others I'm like- lets snuggle forever!
