So today is my birthday!!
I am 24 and qualify for financial aid for this next school year all on my own! Wow.

You know, I should have mentioned that once you decide to stick up for yourself and allow some conflict, all those "couples counselors" and relationship help books offer some excellent advice on how to address and resolve conflict effectively. That way you can save the name calling and hair pulling for those . . . tender moments.
