So I went to a clothing swap on Friday and got a TON of new stuff, most of which was badly needed as I've left much in cities across Canada and the US. I went with a friend and we both left with a garbage bag full of stuff each!

(Wasn't fun to carry in the rain, but that's why there are pubs for stops along the way, and hot showers at home.)

Sadly though now that I've FINALLY gone through it all I realize I left an extra bag (also acquired there) at the hostess's apartment. Granted, at first I couldn't even remember what I left in that bag and had so much new stuff already I hardly needed more, but it hit me that I left the best item behind.

...OVERALLS! Traditional denim overalls with lots of pockets and buttons and things. I got really excited at the swap when I saw them and saw that they were long enough for me (I'm a tall gal!) and then tried them on and they fit decently enough! We all had a great laugh as I paraded them around and one of the other ladies was all, "What do you need those for, milking the cows?!?!"

I'm sorry, but if I had a pair of overalls right now (and I hear the friend I went with made a few calls and I might get them after all, whee!) I would be wearing them all the freaking time.

And, oh-so many mornings...
