Where do snails go when they die? Do they leave their shells and slime their way to a quiet little corner? Do they just sort of... decay and evapourate?
No, seriously -- yesterday I noticed just how freaking many pieces of snail shells there are outside the house. It's like a snail graveyard out there! I often see live snails in the mornings, but it took me this long to notice all the shells. So of course I collected them and put them on a plate and took a picture or twelve.

I've had a few more funny and strange injuries, as usual. Not quite as funny as the mega-side-muscle-pain from a bong rip, buuuut...
This happened today. I was sitting in the kitchen when all of a sudden that spot on my back started to itch like hell, so I scratched the shit out of -- the evidence still visible -- and swore I scratched out a something, that kinda felt like a little cactus prick. Or maybe I go stung or bitten by something, I don't know! (Look how nicely I gave you all a side boob shot too!)
And this was last week when Bovi decided she wanted my thumb as a playtoy and tried to rip it off. Or something like that. Why? Because we were playing Killer Bovi, much like this:
I've also pricked my left pointer finger about a million times doing cross-stitch, since I recently replenished my stock of threads. (And by "replenished" I mean "bought anew because those are still in Montreal too.")
Got to stop this -- got to get to L.A. next weekend!
I'm super excited for August; it's shaping up to be fantastic! First Rambo, Rockezi and I are road-tripping to the City of Angels for the weekend, leaving bright and early next Saturday morning after surely staying up too late Friday night -- y'know, like any great road trip!
I've never been to L.A. unless you count a four-hour layover at LAX... I don't! I'm so so psyched. 
And the weekend after that? Brooklyn is coming out here, so we've got some serious dinner party planning to do! YAY! I think I have to make my miso soup again.
Now if you'll excuse me, I must go perv on the gorgeous new MR sets that I absolutely must catch up on, because there is quite the list of seriously hot sets in there! And while I'm talking about sets, don't you guys love theme weeks? I do!
