As for the advice i gave my friends it was to stop fighting over the lil shit and look at the big picture and that being that he is leaving for iraq in 2 months and well there is a 50/50 chance he will not be comming home the way he left...... when he leaves there will be no one there to hold to watch tv with to just look at there will be this silence that will hurt more then anything in the world...... and that all the fighting that there doing in the last 2 months that he is home is going to be one of the last things that they will remember and do they really want " FUCK U" and " ASSHOLE" be one of the last words that they just might say to each other 
And it sounds like your two friends were done long before the bullshit of him in the military ever fucking became an issue babe. Is long as the fuckers are pulling out guns and knives then let them go to war. It sounds like a relationshiip of love has only become a co-dependency anyway. Fuck 'em man, let them move on.
