So I went to Salinas. Didn't take any pictures worth mentioning. I went up to do some product photography, so I have a lot of pictures of plants.
Then I went to Japan, Kansai Region, and it sucked. I mean, it was good. I love Japan. I love short grain rice and girls in layered outfits. I love trying to spot my possible friends and queers in the mix. I love Osaka City, I love Kyoto's Ebisubashi... but it was a family trip. And when I was younger I didn't think much of my mom's temper. I was embarassed, sure, but what can you do? But now that I'm nearly 24 and my mom can make the tour guide cry and turn around and make me cry, yell at me for forgetting to buy chapstick for my half-brothers... well, that's just bad.
I have spent all my energy avoiding becoming her. And now I am meek, easily pushed around, and I cry a whole lot. I am a doormat.
These are some pictures from my trip. It was chaotic, too long when you're too sad to be there... lonely. Even with all 7 members of my step-family.

Thank you for the comment. I do agree about the get-up. We get a little freaked about the demands of a "theme." But I have a neat concocted for the next one...stilll really themey, but a bit sillier!
