yeah. i had to finish my roll of fuji superia 1600 so I took a picture of myself. and there it is, my new user picture. The previous shot of this is better exposed but unfortunately out of focus.

been out a lot. went to shotgun a couple weeks in a row now. apartment gets messier every day. more clients call. and i'm starting to get unreliable about my freelance work.

shot sage francis last week. it was cool, the pictures turned out OK---nothing great since I couldn't get very close--so I ended up shooting from the balcony which isn't ideal except that no one is bumping into you or your camera.

will post photos if i find any decent ones. otherwise, those of who read my stuff, thanks. i appreciate it a lot. i got one of those cheesy photo books printed of my writing and photos and it turned out pretty decent, I'm excited. it's helping me get over my recent string of horrid nightmares. i was beat to a bloody pulp in sunday morning's dream.

interpol was really good, despite the shitty venue.

finally found a place last week in Redondo Beach, now just making many trips to ikea to try to get it in order.

my best friend has nightmares every night, he wakes up screaming much of the time. I don't know how he copes - anyway, I hope yours are over with.
