Come on now, where's our huge balls to the wall storm??? It's running late. I want to go outside and lean to a 45 degree angle and still be held up by the wind! I'm gonna so pissed off if this thing fizzles out before i get to see some crazy swirls thrown off of it here in northern TX. Bring it on, Rita!!!
In other news, I sure hope no one gets hurt by this hurricane. I have a friend who just spent 12 hours driving here from only 120 miles away in Houston, and i'm sure there are plenty of people who don't have a safe place to ride it out like we do. Pray for everyone still stuck in that traffic. Oh, and mad props to the surfer who was ARRESTED for "Not Taking the Storm Seriously" earlier today. You are most definitely the hero of the day.
