I don't know if any of you are comic book nerds such as myself, but to any of you out there who might be, I have to recommend Preacher. It has to be the best comic I have ever read. Its basically about this preacher that is possessed by the offspring of an archangel and a demon, who happens to be just as powerful as God. When the offspring is born, God quits his job and takes human form on Earth, so the Preacher goes looking for him (literally) with an Irish vampire and his ex-girlfriend. It's just an amazing, unique, violent, disgusting comic. I picked up the first 7 issues in a collection last night and couldn't put it down. I heard about the comic from an interview with Gerard Way (lead singer of My Chemical Romance) and he said that it was basically the main influence for Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. But yea, if you're into comics, check this one out.
