tuesday, a few days left to put things together for the showcase on friday. aside from assembling cds and distributing the rest of the flyers, everything else is in place... starting to see all the press appear in the local weeklies.
the faint, ladytron and herbert have been coloring the overcast days... just as i am starting to find myself tickled pink and brown about things, all the music for the new record has arrived -- dreaminess in all its ambient / folk / downtempo / slowcore shades of blue, including a cover of big star's "blue moon" which is my favorite song of the moment...
met a few illustrators at the APE convention this weekend, i will certainly look to work with a couple of them in the next year (mainly john pham / epoxy press and brian wood / channel zero). getting excited about selecting our blue illustrator... oh please, do except, ms. august!
