You know as a teenager you grow up with certain crushes or infactuations with musicians, actors , etc. Well for me it was Marissa Tomei and Wynona Ryder.
So after finding out that I was going to be able to work and check out the Voices of a People's History tour that Howard Zinn is doing which included Marissa Tomei , I realized that I could be close to fulfiling my teenage fantasy of meeting her!!!!
Earlier in the day I met her brother and at that point thought that it was probably the closest I'd ever get to meeting her. That changed when I decided to sneek into the after party where I found her and was able to take a quick picture with her. I can move on now.....
Did I also mention that I got to ensure the safety of Mr. Howard Zinn during his book signing!!!! During the session a woman tried to approach him and I had to redirect her away from the huge line. That same woman i found out was his WIFE!!!!! I felt like an asshole..
