i don't know what's so patently offensive about this comment,
but it prompted one SG member to Leave this comment in my journal:

don't get me wrong, I Love beautiful girls as much as the next person,
but here's my bottom line (no pun intended):
I don't care how cute or hot someone is,
if we can't have a conversation, i lose interest rather quickly.

i've "met" some very nice people here, and i hope some of you will keep in touch
occasionally, if not more. However, i have also witnessed so much immature hypocrisy and narrow-minded, judgmental ignorance. if i just want "punk/goth porn" there are tons of other sites out there, i thought SG was more than that...
