Well, my organization finally finished writing our grant proposal for a large state program. The last weeks were crazy busy trying to hash out the grant in addition to the other many thigns I try to do on a daily basis. Sometimes I wish that the work day was longer, so that I could get more done. Then again, I don't wish that.
I have to be careful because I'm the type of person who can get totally consumed in my work. As it is, I've managed to get onto the board of another community based organization that I do stuff for outside of work hours. That's a two year committment. Fortunately, the board meetings are being moved from Sunday morning to a weeknight. Otherwise, I probably couldn't have accepted. I need my weekends to run around in the woods. Speaking of such, I haven't been camping at all this year: too busy. I'm gonna freak out.
The weekends are all that I can really take off, as I don't have enough time in at my job to take vacation. Though I really want to go to BM )'( this year. Perhaps I can fennaggle something. That's all I know.
