Ok well for one I am not depressed you may think this when you read this blog but sorry to disappoint I am not LOL.
I have always thought about what songs i would have played at my own funeral and have discussions with friends over the years and it is a very interesting topic LOL seriously i am not depressed LOL
I lost afriend almost 2 years ago now through alcohol addiction he died is his early 30's what a waste of life, he was a massive who fan and always said he wanted behind blue eyes playing at his funeral and thats what he had, and I dont think there was a dry eye in the church.
so at this current time i think these following tracks would be what i would have played at my funeral they may change over the years but at the moment these are what i would choose, fade to black will always be on the list though, i like the feel of the songs and the lyrical content is relative to death/dying.
so here goes
next one has lyrics for anyone who doesnt know them
and 1 more same as on yesterdays blog
and a couple of quotes to follow by Elisabeth kubler Ross:
It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth - and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.
It is not the end of the physical body that should worry us. Rather, our concern must be to live while we're alive - to release our inner selves from the spiritual death that comes with living behind a facade designed to conform to external definitions of who and what we are.
well enjoy the tracks, if thats the right word LOL
and what would be your personal funeral song/songs?
xx
