Had a grading at judo on friday and yes I passed got a good beating on the ground afterwards though, but it showed a few OK more than a few holes in my game.
I haven't done judo for over 12 years so its taking a while to get the hang of things again. This grappling game is so intricate, a physical game of chess as some people describe it, I never was any good at chess.

I am still undecided whether to return to the ring before i am too old. I used to be a semi pro kickboxer for 12 years, former british tiltle contender on a few occasions too, but retired due to a work injury in 1999. Hence getting into yoga afterwards.


But 10 years out is a long time but I would like to have 1 more chance at getting that belt before its too late.

I am also dealing with the issues of teaching yoga fulltime, and now living a yogic lifestyle, is it a step back for me to want to fight again? Is it anti-yoga, i dunno. after all it is only a sport, I'm not beating people up in the street. And I have a non-violent lifestyle diet wise, mmmmmmm a moral dilemma i feel.
