It is snowing like crazy in beautiful NYC, and I should be getting ready for work. As usual, I procrastinate. Today, I am working on machfive for a few hours, so that will be fun. For me anyway.
Tomorrow night Firewater is playing at the Bowery Ballroom--I encourage everyone to go. Their music is kinda a combination of Tom Waits and Nick Cave--very good music to drink to.
Alex Grey is celebrating his 50th birthday Monday, with a party that is open to the public (in Brooklyn). Alex is an amazing visionary artist: he is most well known for the album artwork for Tool's "Lateralus" album. For those who wish to give a gift, he requests a donation to the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors project. A worthwhile cause.
Only 16 days until I leave town for X-mas. Not that I care about the holiday; it is a good excuse for some time off to go visit friends and family. I am making a side-trip to Virginia to see the Forbidden girl. I'm very excite d to see her again.
As much as long distance relationships suck, it is almost good that I don't have someone here to distract me from the mountain of projects I'm working on. Oh well, if only Virginia was a little closer...That's all for now...I gotta take a shower.
