Welcome K-Mart shoppers, today's Blue Light Special is on fruit cake, vintage 1982. This fine holiday product is available at $3.74 a pound and is the perfect gift for the loved one who needs a doorstop. It also make a lovely dessert or makeshift sandbag. 
It's been an uneventful couple of days but this last evening I went and hung out with my usual running partners Storey & Maxwell_Demon at this interesting bar downtown with SamanthaKayne, Ironbhr, Azurite, Dragonchylde, Jonnytrrrash7 and one other fine gentleman whose name I did not catch (Sorry sorry sorry please don't kill me).
I can't speak for everyone, but I will anyway! A fun time was had by all. Huzzah! (Just love those 16th century exclamations)
I do think that I may be hopelessly suburban, though. Even though we weren't in one of the bad neighborhoods, I was still a mite bit uncomfortable, silly hayseed westside guy that I am.
Such an interesting slice of humanity though.
