I work so much this week! I have one day off (even though one of my jobs is trying to get me to work it), and I work 2 doubles. Yeesh!
I am 26 years old, I have only had 3 cells phones since I was 16 (well, ever because that is when I got my first cell). My phone right now, I have had for 4 years - and for the first time ever (like... everrr), I cracked the glass on the outside of it (it's a flip phone, fancy I know). I think I am proud of myself. I never drop or break things. I feel so reckless! Everyone tells me to get a new phone, but I don't want something that will consume me. People are always using their phones, all the fucking time. It's sick. What happened to being aware of your surroundings and enjoying them - rather than tunnel vision on your fb all the time. I like to keep my internet usage at home. I never need gps, I don't need to check my email constantly, I don't know..... I am an old soul I suppose. So, I will keep my flip phone. I will not conform to your absent society. Plus, this little phone that ppl make fun of - takes 3 days to drain the battery (same battery for 4 years), and it ALWAYS gets service.
This was last new years with Etana - I work a double this new years (wtf??!!!! fml).

Hey, happy holidays to you too. Hope all is well. Out of total left field you made a very prominent appearance in a dream I had last night -- as with most dreams, the vivid details began to fade as soon as I woke up, but you helped me save my son's life in the middle of some crowded auditorium somewhere. I have no idea why you happened by in this dream, I haven't even been on SG or FB much lately to see your updates. Just a random thing, I guess. Weird, huh? But hey, much thanks for the assist -- that little guy means the world to me. :-)
